A youth activist in Abak Local Government Area, Mr. Aniekeme Ibokette has said that the Transition Committee Chairman for Abak, Rt. Hon. Apostle Ekerette Inyang has performed beyond expectation.Mr. Aniekeme Ibokette who was reacting to another round of empowerment by the Council Boss over the weekend, where he doled out millions of naira to some youths to encourage their businesses and a brand new motor-cycle to another beneficiary, pointed out that such empowerment has never happened before in the history of Abak.He appreciated the Transition Committee Chairman for having the interest of his people act heart. “This is the kind of Chairman we want. Chairman who has the interest of his people at heart. See what he has done today. At least the money will assist the beneficiaries to improve their business and this will in turn put food on the tables of many families.“I am proud of Rt. Hon. Apostle Ekerette Inyang because he has performed beyond expectation and you will agree with me that this has never happened before in the history of Abak Local Government Area”, he stated.Mr. Ibokette persuaded Apostle Ekerette Inyang to aspire for a second term since according to him, one good turn deserves another.The youth activist called on those he described as “enemies of progress” not to jealous the achievement recorded by the Transition Committee Chairman, but should rather encourage him by supporting him to do more for the people of Abak. He expressed the hope that if given the opportunity to return the council for a second term, Apostle Ekerette Inyang will take Abak Local Government Area to the next level of development.Mr. Ibokette prayed God to continue to guide, protect and give Apostle Ekerette Inyang more wisdom to continue to discharge his duties effectively.
